I got to be honest, I'm not a real big fan. The last thing I want to do when I teaching is wait for a computer program to catch up to what I'm trying to do. I think it's a cool idea, but it makes me feel like I want to set myself on fire. Just sayin'.

Be patient. This could be the perfect tool for teaching Social Studies. Just create one lesson using Google maps and see if you can get students to make some more. I bet you'll have some volunteers.
I think the computer programmers will certainly be tweaking some of the capabilities of Google Maps... real soon! Keep checking back!
